WHO ARE WE

LANCE LATTIG, Artistic Director 

Lance is an artist and human rights activist. His artistic work focuses on direction, translation and adaptation of theatre plays. Some of his works with the company include Winter Under the Table (based on Roland Topor's L'Hiver Sous La Table), Manhatitlán (based on Simone Schartz-Bart's Ton Beau Capitaine) and The Final Session (translated from Johnny Gavlovski's La Última Sesión). His human rights work focuses on the Philippines and Malaysia. He is a researcher with Amnesty International. 


 ISABELA MÉNDEZ ERMINY, Actress  

Isabela is an actress, singer, poet and story teller. After having performed in North and South America for several years, she is now based in Barcelona, Spain. She has won several acting awards, including two prestigious Venezuelan awards: "Premio Nacional de la Casa del Artista" and "Premio Marco Antonio Ettedgui". She graduated in the arts from Universidad Central de Venezuela, specialising in drama. She also trained at the Lee Strassberg Theater Institute in New York.

  MARCO APONTE, Actor and Artistic Manager 

Marco is an actor and linguist. He studied drama at the HB Studio and the Lee Strassberg Theatre Institute in New York. In the past ten years, he has participated in numerous plays in New York and London. In 2005, he was nominated for a New York ACE Latino Critics Award for his performance of Garcin in the New York Spanish revival of the play Huis Clos by Jean-Paul Sartre. He has a PhD in Hispanic Linguistics and teaches at Aston University.
