Our Biographies

Since 2001, dozens of performers from around the world have participated in our productions in New York City. Since the summer of 2008, we have relocated to Europe. Our activities are now based in London.

MARCO APONTE

Marco Aponte was born in Caracas, Venezuela. His artistic career started at a very early age in Caracas, where he participated in several theatre workshops, school plays, and music classes. In 1997 he joined the HB Studio in New York City , where he studied all aspects of theatre for several years, including acting and playwriting. He also studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York. His first stage appearance in the United States was in the year 2000 in the Park Theatre's annual production of the Passion Play in Union City, New Jersey. Since then he has performed in over twenty theatre productions. In 2005, Aponte was nominated for an ACE Award for his performance of Garcin in the New York Spanish revival of the play Huis Clos by Jean-Paul Sartre. Marco has also performed in London at the Questor Theatre and the Blue Elephant.

LANCE LATTIG

Lance Lattig received his education at Princeton University and Columbia University. He is a writer and human rights activist. Lattig is the General Manager of the Company, playwright and also works in translations and adaptations of plays. He is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Lattig contributed with Aponte to the adaptation and translation of the play Manhatitlan. He also directed Winter Under the Table and Manhatitlán.

ISABELA MENDEZ ERMINY
Isabella is an actress, singer, poet and story teller. After having performed in North and South America, she is now based in Barcelona, Spain. Click on the following link to see Isabela's website:

HUMBERTO OLIVIERI
Humberto is our pianist and composer. He was born in Caracas, Venezuela. He had his first experiences with music at the age of 5 when he used to sing old pop tunes by Lionel Richie and George Benson while his father (who he considers his first role model) played the piano. At the age of 16 he began to study classical music with profesor Bruna Monestiroli from Rome. During that period he also became very interested in music for films and explored the compositions of Bernard Herrman, John Williams, Danny Elfman and Alan Silvestri. At age 23, he became involved with jazz and got completely absorbed by it. He later moved to New York, where he currently attends the Jazz Program at City College in Manhattan.
