In 2004, Manhatitlan was awarded the recognition of one of the best productions of the year in New York City by the publication Backstage.

In 2005, Marco Aponte was nominated for an ACE Award as Best Actor for his performance of Garcin in the Spanish revival of Huis Clos. In addition, Fernando Bustamantes was awarded the ACE Award as Best Director for the same play.
